»Streifzüge« ist ein doppeldeutiger Titel: das äußerst wertvolle, wie eine Preziose in der Hand liegende Buch entfaltet diese Doppeldeutigkeit, wenn man es öffnet. Die Radierungen zeigen Linien, Streifen, Zeilen auf transparentem Papier und lassen so das Zwischen-den-Zeilen in vielfacher Hinsicht lesbar werden. Im Buch finden sich zwei große Bögen, die auseinandergefaltet nicht bloß das Buch über seine Ränder hinaus erweitern, sondern auch einem Streifzug durch die Dimensionen der Grafik gleichkommen.

»Streifzüge« is a title as double entendre. Like something precious lying in the hand, this extremely costly book reveals that ambiguity when opened. The engravings show lines, stripes, lines on transpa- rent paper, thus allowing the ‚between-the-lines‘ effect to become legible in many respects. Two large sheets are found within the book which, when unfolded, do not merely extend the book beyond its margins. They are tantamount to a jaunt across the dimensions of graphic art.
